When the rain hit… these retro boardgames came out of the cupboard. Rain tapping the window. Cartoons switched off early. That low light in the living room that only happened mid-afternoon. You’d open the box and the smell hit first — cardboard, plastic, something slightly dusty. Pieces tipped onto the table. Someone already arguing about the rules. Someone else “accidentally” taking extra money. The game didn’t matter as much as the ritual. Hours passed without checking the time. No phones. No rushing.
